English：To train practical and compound English major students in order to respond to the needs of China’s social and economic development,who are well developed morally, intellectually, and physically, possessing solid English language foundation and over-rounded English culture knowledge, mastering basic thoeries and methods of international trade, scientific translation with the pioneering and innovative spirit, and who are proficient in the command of English for undertaking translations, business, management, marketing or secretary as their career in such organizations or enterprises and institutions as international communication, foreign business, cultural publicity and teaching research.

German:To train practical and compound German major students who are provided with a high level of education, possessing over-rounded knowledge of German literature, history, geography, politics, economy, diplomacy and social culture, mastering basic methods of scientific research, with the pioneering and innovative spirit, and who are proficient in the command of German for undertaking translations, business trade, secretary or guide as their career in such organizations or enterprises and institutions as international communication, foreign cooperation, foreign affairs and trade, foreign business, cultural publicity and tourism reception.

Applied English: To cultivate inter-disciplinary talents by training students basic language skills and English for special purpose (International Trade, Tourism, Teaching and etc.). Major courses are Basic English, English of Science and Technology, Tourism English, English Teaching Methodology, Business English in Writing, etc.

Applied German: To cultivate inter-disciplinary talents by training students basic German skills and German for special purpose (International Trade, Tourism, Teaching and etc.). Major courses are German Conversation, German Listening, German Grammar and so on.

Applied Russian: To cultivate inter-disciplinary talents by training students basic Russian skills and Russian for special purpose (International Trade, Tourism, Teaching and etc.). Major courses are Russian Listening, Russian Conversation, Russian Writing, and Russian Grammar and so on.

Applied French:To train extroverted and skillful French major students of high quality with the ability to undertake Chinese-French tranlation, foreign management, who are well developed morally, intellectually, physically andaesthetically, are accustomed to the needs of production, constuction, management and service and possessing basic French skills and support the Basic Line of CPC.

Applied Spanish:To train extroverted and skillful Spanish major students of high quality with the ability to undertake Chinese-Spanish tranlation, foreign corporation management, who are well developed morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, are accustomed to the needs of production, constuction, management and service, and possessing basic French skills and support the Basic Line of CPC.

Chinese as a Foreign Language: To develop students’ basic language skills of Chinese and thorough understanding of both western and Chinese culture. Students will be engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and international communication. Major courses are including main courses for English majors, Modern Chinese, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and so on.

Secretarial major: To cultivate applied talents, the qualified bilingual secretary for the future need, with a good mastery of both Chinese and English. Major courses are including main courses for English majors and Secretarial Science and so on
